ABOUT ME

Alex became interested in shibari in the early 2000s. He studied ropes in Japan under the guidance of Osada Steve. Over the years, he has incorporated various styles into his own technique, working with several internationally renowned rope instructors, expanding his knowledge, and evolving on his own terms.

Since 2018, he has been organizing the Shibari Ropeplay event as an instructor and has been involved in conducting numerous high-level workshops and other rope-related events.

For Alex, ropes are a versatile tool through which he expresses his sexuality and personality while realizing his creativity as an artist. Planning and executing shibari and kinbaku sessions is meaningful to him, as it allows him to create a connection with the person being tied and provide valuable and interesting experiences.

Alex also enjoys performing and photographing, and finding it particularly rewarding to assist others on their rope journey as a teacher and mentor.

The space is designed and optimized specifically for shibari and kinbaku rope sessions and teaching (including, for example, various suspensions points and hashira pillars). The studio also accommodates simultaneous instruction for small groups.
